Judge Advocate Alastair James Buchanan McGrigor retired as Assistant Judge Advocate General with effect from 1 January 2024. Background information Judge Advocate McGrigor was called to the Bar (Grays Inn) in 1978 and admitted as a Solicitor in 1981. He was appointed an Assistant Judge Advocate General in 2005.
