A new proposal in the New York Assembly would make it so that digital-only coupons offered through grocers’ loyalty programs would be automatically applied to senior citizens’ bills across the state of New York. The bill aims to help hashtag seniors without smartphones or other devices needed to access the deals.

Seniors are some of the best customers and once taught how to use the apps become some of the most loyal app users. The coupons in the app are a reward for using the app. The government shouldn’t get involved with this.
