The Prime Minister has announced that from next week, up to six members of two households will be able to meet outside and it will be the first time in 10 weeks that many of us will have seen family members or friends in the flesh. That has been a tough ask, but for the most part, we have stuck to the restrictions to help control the pandemic and then hopefully get back to some kind of normality. In some ways the weather has made it more difficult. Normally, during such a period of dry weather, we would have been inviting folk round for a barbeque or a few drinks in the garden. But at least those of us lucky enough to have a bit of outside space have been able to escape from the four walls to get a bit of fresh air and some sun. So, gradual lifting of restrictions is a good sign. But, despite the temptations, it is important that we work within them. We would all love to meet up with a dozen or more people - but that would just escalate the risk. Let’s not forget, we are not out of the woods yet.
