Bud's Broiler is back near City Park, and Lakeside Shopping Center gets a ... wine bar?! The Uptown barbecue spot Moe's is no mo', but fear not, there's a new location. Read on... 1. Coolinary means hot deals. Diners look forward to the New Orleans & Company summer restaurant promotion Coolinary, a chance to get a taste of what our city's chefs are doing at chill prices. This year, the kinds of service offered have expanded and the deals are tweaked to aid restaurants trying to emerge from the pandemic. Get the lowdown here. 2. No. 5, hold the onions! We're excited that the iconic New Orleans hamburger spot Bud's Broiler has made its long-awaited return to the City Park neighborhood. Ian McNulty has the hickory-smoked deets on a bun. 3. And there's more. Shop and sip? Sure, when Lakeside Shopping Center's wine bar opens in late September! It's Christmas in July for food lovers, and a Lakeview restaurant row comes back from a devastating fire. Moe's closes Uptown, but the barbecue spot will keep smoking in Metairie. And Korea House shuts down after 35 years. 4. Muffin to see here... Whether it's breakfast or between meals, you can't go wrong with homemade blueberry-almond muffins. Karen Martin has the recipe. 5.
