Construction employment grows throughout S.C.

An analysis of federal employment data found construction jobs grew by a total of 700 in the state. Growth occurred throughout the state’s metropolitan statistical areas, paced by Greenville-Mauldin-Anderson.

Gullah Geechee Chamber joins state organization

The Gullah Geechee Chamber of Commerce, based in Georgetown, raises awareness of businesses which support the Gullah community. Marilyn Hemingway, CEO and president, will serve on the S.C. Small Business Chamber board of directors.
