| With over 85,000 Thank You votes case during the month of January, the 2022 Say Thanks Austin campaign concluded as a huge success. Our gratitude goes out to the thousands of supporters of all ages who chose to take a moment to say thanks to an amazing class of volunteer all-stars. Without the ability to gather safely indoors (again), the team pivoted to a closing ceremony alongside scenic Ladybird Lake to present over $20,000 in donations to charity partners.
Special thanks to our guest hosts Bobby Jenkins, Judy Maggio and Leslie Rhode who helped us present those donations, as well as Certificates of Appreciation from the City of Austin and some special awards from our friends at Crown Austin. Our talented muralist depicting the campaign and its honorees as we celebrated was the icing on the cake!
Congratulations to our first-place finishers, Briana Murphy and Jacqueline T. Freeman, who garnered over 38,000 Thank You votes and took home a donation of $10,000 for Black Women in Business. |
