Concerning Statistic from Israel

Another quick update. In a significant escalation, Israel Israel has struck over 450 targets in just the last 24 hours. IDF troops successfully overran a crucial Hamas compound, disrupting their training and tunnel infrastructure. The operation also neutralized several combatants and was supported by the Israeli Navy's strategic strikes on key positions.

As Israel continues to grapple with the conflict, its impact on its people is profound. Leading economists point out a significant recession looming, which will affect everybody after 360,000 reservists were called away from their civilian jobs to serve in the IDF, and 130,000 evacuees removed from their homes.

The psychological aftermath is equally alarming. Newly conducted studies suggest that in some regions of Israel, as many as 27% of Jewish Israeli children have been diagnosed with PTSD. Many are likely to experience trauma symptoms, from flashbacks to heightened anxiety and behavioral changes.

In response to these daunting challenges, Feed Israel remains steadfast in its commitment to nourish and support our nation's people. Our volunteers tirelessly prepare and distribute meals, providing a beacon of hope in these dark times. We are currently providing 22,000 meals daily to soldiers and evacuated families alike, but the need is growing by the hour.
