| Ken Burns Explores America’s Response to the Holocaust in New Docuseries | | |
| | Filmmaker Ken Burns teams with longtime collaborators Lynn Novick and Sarah Botstein for a new three-part documentary series that tells the story of how Americans grappled with one of the greatest humanitarian crises of the twentieth century, and how this struggle tested the ideals of our democracy. The U.S. and the Holocaust premieres on Sunday, September 18, and continues through Tuesday, September 20, at 8pm on KQED 9, or you can stream it on the PBS Video App.

| | | La Otra Mirada, a 1920s period drama series (in Spanish with English subtitles) follows Teresa, a teacher who’s taken a job at an academy for young women in Seville after fleeing scandal in Lisbon. The school, a bastion of tradition, is shaken when Teresa arrives. Watch the first season starting September 15. New episodes will premiere every Thursday at 10:30pm, on KQED 9.
