How to implement ambitious GHG emission reductions - Science Based Target setting

Upcoming webinar

Science Based Targets (SBTs) are ambitious greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction goals that are in line with the decarbonisation required to keep global temperature increase to below 2°C compared to pre-industrial levels.

Diageo, one of the world’s leading alcoholic beverage companies, will also join for a Q&A to give a corporate perspective on setting a SBT. Click here to find out more.

Science Based Target setting

Targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions are considered science-based if they are in line with the level of decarbonisation required to keep global temperatures below 2°C compared to pre-industrial levels. Companies are increasingly understanding the potential long-term value that can be gained by setting Science Based Targets (SBTs).

With our SBT service offer, we can assist your organisation throughout the target setting process. We provide guidance on developing a target using the appropriate methodology; manage the official Validation of the target by the Science Based Target Initiative; help develop external climate change policies; establish internal and external communication plans; and convene key stakeholders to validate SBT commitments.

Join our upcoming SBT webinar to find out more.

To discuss how we could help your organisation set SBTs, please email Kathryn.Thomas@Corporate-Citizenship.com
