Tell us what makes a neighbourhood great

The City of Cockburn invites you to share your opinion and suggestions about your neighbourhood. We want to know what makes a neighbourhood great and how liveable your neighbourhood is.

Your opinion is important as it can help make your neighbourhood a better place to live, work and play. Plus, as a thank you for your participation, you could win one of five $100 online shopping vouchers or a $500 voucher to spend on fuel, or at Woolworths or JB Hi-Fi.

The survey is open from 2 September to midnight 29 September 2024. The City will use results to guide future decisions in your area. The 2024 Cockburn Liveability Survey has been commission by the City of Cockburn through independent research company Place Score.

Have you got an idea, project, or event that you think your community would love? Let us help you make it a reality. The City of Cockburn Community Fund offers over $1 million in funding to local groups, organisations, and individuals each year from various grants, donations, and sponsorship.

The next round of grants is now open, and the City’s Community Grants Coordinator will be available at Cockburn Libraries to answer your questions, help you to identify suitable grants/funds, and get you started

Help us plan for your future coastline!

The City invites you to be involved and share your thoughts on ways we can preserve Cockburn’s natural and built assets for you to enjoy now and for future generations to come.

The City has commenced the review and update of its Coastal Hazard Risk Management Adaption Plan (CHRMAP). The CHRMAP will guide the City on timeframes and triggers to implement sustainable solutions to minimise coastal risks in the short and long-term.

Your feedback will be used to develop a draft CHRMAP, which will be available for further public comment in 2025 to confirm we captured your values.
