Connecting cultures in Cockburn

Are you passionate about representing your community and shaping the future of multicultural initiatives in Cockburn? The City of Cockburn is excited to announce a call for expressions of interest to join its dynamic Multicultural Reference Group (MRG)!

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals of New Zealand, South African, Portuguese, and Croatian heritage to step forward and become a vital part of our vibrant and diverse community.

Why should you consider joining the MRG?

  • Represent your community: Be the voice for your cultural group, ensuring their perspectives and needs are heard and valued in local decision-making
  • Influence multicultural initiatives: Play a direct role in developing and implementing programs and services that promote cultural understanding, inclusion, and celebration within Cockburn
  • Build connections across diverse cultures: The MRG is a welcoming space for individuals of all ages and experiences to connect, share, and collaborate.

The MRG holds bi-monthly meetings, providing a consistent platform for discussions and contributions.
Be a part of a more inclusive Cockburn!
