| Today, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) opened the public comment period on the development of the All-Cause Emergency Department (ED) Utilization for Medicaid Beneficiaries measure. The goal of this public comment period is to obtain perspectives from a broad range of stakeholders on the draft measure specifications and the measures importance, reliability, face validity, feasibility, and usability. Feedback received from stakeholders during the public comment period may help to identify areas of improvement for the measure, including the revised specifications and provide insights into the publics general reaction including unanticipated concerns about the measure topic and potential implementation of the measure.
