On August 7, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) established the TCET pathway through a final procedural notice in the Federal Register and released three final guidance documents. Collectively, these documents propose a substantial transformation to our approach to coverage reviews and evidence development. As a part of CMSâ continued commitment to engage interested parties, CMS will hold an education session on September 23, 2024, to share information on the TCET pathway and answer questions.  CMS asks the public to submit questions on the TCET pathway in advance of the meeting.
