Blighted base: After a string of violent crimes at the shuttered naval base in the Bywater, authorities have stepped in to clear out roughly 50 squatters from what is likely the city's largest blighted property. Joseph Cranny has the story. Sisters mourned: Lisa and Julie Kelley, two sisters well known throughout their Bywater and Marigny neighborhoods, are being mourned after a fatal car wreck in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, this weekend.
