The tiny RISC-V board has now arrived in a Crowd Supply campaign as the MangoPi-Nezha MQ. MangoPi has opened $39 preorders for the 40mm x 40mm SBC that runs Linux or RT-Smart on a 1GHz, RISC-V based Allwinner F133-A SoC. | |
| Router Board Features Wi-Fi 6 and Dual 2.5GbE | Banana Pi has been ramping up its router board product line over the last year and is now prepping a Banana Pi BPI-R3 model with a Mediatek MT7986 SoC designed for Wi-Fi 6 router boards. Like the BPI-R2 and BPI-R64, the BPI-R3 has 4x GbE ports plus a WAN port. It also adds dual 2.5GbE ports via optical SFP cages. | |
| Two Firms Roll Out COM-HPC and COMe Type 7 Modules | Intel announced two new Xeon-D processors that use its 10nm Ice Lake-D architecture: the 4-20 core Xeon D-2700 and 2-10-core Xeon D-1700. The processors offer up to 3.0GHz/3.5GHz clock, Intel DL Boost and AVX512 NVVI for AI, Intel TCC and TSN, 100GbE LAN support, and up to 32 PCIe Gen4 lanes.
