A mother's plea

The spiralling toll of overdose deaths across Melbourne has prompted calls for a second safe injecting facility to open in the city's CBD. Katrina Korver’s son Danial died from an overdose in June. She believes that if a safe injecting room was operating in the city, her son would be alive.
