When you move to a new place, it’s normal for some pets to have trouble adjusting. For dogs, in particular, the lack of familiar smells and locations can be a source of anxiety. But one dog from Kansas took things a step further when she ran away from her new home after just moving in. Her owners feared for the worst, but the dog was totally fine — just in a different location.

Apparently, she had made a 50-mile trek all the way back to Missouri, where the family had lived for years prior. The new residents helped to reunite the dog with her owners, but unfortunately for her, she’s stuck in Kansas for the time being. This gives a whole new meaning to being homesick. If you think that's crazy, this dog was found hundreds of miles away!
