Dear Babylon Bee Reader, When the New York Times published the 1619 Project, some called it the beginning of the end of our history education. Now, the 1619 Project is being used as an educational standard in some public schools. Let me be clear: Americans should not hide from the past. But we need to tell the entire story in a proper narrative. Please allow me to introduce myself briefly. I am Connor Boyack and author of the popular Tuttle Twins children's books, which teach kids about the concepts of liberty, individualism, and free markets. What I see in the 1619 Project is a radically biased distortion of history created for divisive political purposes. It exaggerates and tries to reframe our country as serving only one purpose: white supremacy. History shouldn't be weaponized to attack the ideas of freedom and to promote a radical agenda. Our history deserves to be taught better than being used as political propaganda. This is why I am writing a new Tuttle Twins curriculum on American History. Can I count on your immediate support to create and distribute 5,000 copies of our history to schools and families?  Here is why I am counting on your support today. Regardless of the more extreme 1619 Project, existing K-8 American history books donât help much either. Their quality is really low. Today's history curriculum for kids does not teach them the ideas that motivated our Founding Fathers. And it doesn't help them understand why an 8-year-old in 2021 should care about what happened over 200 years ago. How is it relevant to their life today? The Tuttle Twins history curriculum will address these issues. Young people will be able to learn, appreciate, and apply the lessons of history. But this will all take immense resources, and we'll be working to create it all year. That's why I am emailing you today for your support. Please consider donating to the Tuttle Twins' new history curriculum. Donate $35 >> Donate $50 >> Donate $100 >> Donate $200 >> Donate $500 >> Donate $1,000 >> Donate Another Amount >> I am putting everything out front on what it will take to launch this ambitious project. Any amount you can send today will go directly towards this budget. I have attached the total cost for this project for your review.
I have ambitious goals for the distribution of the new history curriculum. But frankly, I'm worried we're not getting it out soon enough. The radicals are taking over our kids' education and we must act quickly. I know with your support today the Tuttle Twins' history curriculum can make a bigger impact more quickly. Please rush your support today and help me complete this much-needed project. Donate $35 >> Donate $50 >> Donate $100 >> Donate $200 >> Donate $500 >> Donate $1,000 >> Donate Another Amount >> Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it. Let's fix that together. I worry every day about the education of the rising generation. I know the solution isn't an easy one. We will need to work hard to distribute a history education that teaches the values of our countryâindividualism, liberty, and capitalism. Thank you, Connor Boyack Author of the Tuttle Twins President, Libertas Institute
