Chicken Schnitzel

By attosa

Chicken Schnitzel on plate with lemon bridgesIt's Oktoberfest time! I'm not a beer drinker, but I do make up for it with the foods. This is an easy way to make a scrumptious schnitzel without too much effort. You can use any type of meat you like, but I like chicken breast. Don't forget to serve lemon wedges alongside. They really make this meal pop!

Sunday Morning Omelets

By Ida Claire

omelet on plateMy husband loves for me to cook breakfast before church and he loves omelets! I have started saving a few peppers, onions and mushrooms whenever I use them for other meals or recipes. I just chop them up, place in a small baggie and freeze them. This has saved me so much time on Sunday mornings.

Reduce Heat When Frying

By katrine2706

Reduce Heat when FryingIn frying, wait for the oil to heat up then reduce heat from high to medium. This will save you some gas if you're using a gas stove, or energy if you use electric stoves. Also, it prevents the food from getting overcooked or from burning.
