It's unusually hot here and our chickens are having a hard time staying cool. I decided to make this cooling station, so they can beat the heat and it provides an extra source of water. They love it and started using it right away. It's super simple too!

My husband adopted our cat Baby a few years before we met. After his marriage ended he wanted someone to keep him company, but most of all he wanted to feel needed and loved again. As you can see from the photo, Baby is a paw drinker.

Making Litter Box Cleaning Easier

With six cats, I clean litter boxes a lot. I came up with a tip that makes it easier and less messy. I use a small round bathroom size trash can and put a bag inside it. I scoop the dirty litter into the bag inside the can and carry it with me. I carry the can outside, take out the bag, tie it and put it in the trash.

I live in Tahiti and unfortunately there aren't a lot of pet stores here on the islands. In fact, there aren't any pet stores here on the island. If we want anything for your pets we have to buy them from the veterinary or the pharmacy. We pay an extremely high price for our pet care needs.
