Today's Featured PostChicken and Black Bean Enchiladas
By suz1230
These enchiladas are really easy to make. They're so delicious with the oozing cheese and all the wonderful flavors inside them. They can be served with a side of rice, refried beans and cheese, or just by themselves.

Boiling Eggs to Make Deviled Eggs
By littergitter
I use the bottom of my 58 year old double boiler for boiling eggs. During the first year of our marriage, I boiled some eggs in the top portion of the double boiler. Best I can remember, I set the pot on the eye and turned it on high. The eggs boiled alright but I think I must have forgotten them because when I went back in the kitchen, the bottom of the aluminum pot had melted and the eggs were sitting on the eye. It took me a while to learn how to cook.

Steak, Vegetables, and Japanese Eggplant
By poehere
I love to cook but, I dont like to use recipes. I have a knack for mixing and matching different vegetables and ingredients that are in the house. Because I have a rather large organic garden we eat a lot of fresh vegetables and salads daily. This recipe is one that I have thrown together that everyone loves. Hope you enjoy this recipe too.

Instead of heating up my kitchen, I do a lot of cooking outside on the porches. I've enjoyed using my George Foreman, crockpot, toaster oven, and grill to help keep the house cool during this hot weather. I have an old hot plate that I may be dragging out soon.
