Here is another pie in a jar I made. I love how cute the pie looks in the jar. They are the perfect serving size and they can be stored in the freezer before baking.

If you haven't tried grilled watermelon yet, I beg you, please try it! It turns the common granular, sweet and juicy melon into some bizarre sweet and savoury, firm, meat-like treat that is beyond words. The great thing is, it's so incredibly cheap and easy to do! This is the simple-as-can be method, but you could try using different spices if you'd like. I urge you to try this on its own, though, so you can experience this incredible texture. If you don't have a grill, you could even bake it.

I use the Clorox toilet cleaning disposable pads attached to the wand for good scrubbing and disinfecting action. I no longer have to get on my knees and scrub. As a senior citizen, it helps me keep my shower so clean.

Frames can be made from anything. Resourcefulness and creativity is the key. This time I'm going to make one from melted crayons. If you wish to try this just be careful with the flames.

When harvesting your brassicas, leave the root in the ground with a few leaves still attached. In a few weeks time you will find you have tiny cabbages sprouting out from the stump which can be used as spring greens in late summer! Also baby cauliflowers and broccoli sprouts.
Cloud dough is great for sensory play. Kids like the wet sand like texture.
