This year has been an absolute blast! 2024 will go down as an unforgettable year for Catalan cinema... The films produced this year captivated audiences worldwide with their bold stories and the exceptional talent of our filmmakers and producers.
2024 was full of incredible surprises, including more than 1.300 film selections and representation in every A-class festival of the year. We won the Golden Shell for Best Film at San Sebastián and we saw remarkable sucess for two incredible films, which shattered box office records becoming the most-watched Catalan films in 40 years.
We couldn’t be prouder of these outstanding achievements for Catalan cinema. We are deeply grateful to be part of such an inspiring and innovative community, and we can't wait to see what 2025 has in store!
