Cruel and unusual punishment: Oklahoma jail in hot water Going to jail is scary enough as it is, but what if staff there decided to make conditions even worse? That’s what happened at a particularly sadistic Oklahoma jail — where employees are now facing charges for cruelty. The reason? Apparently, the staff handcuffed inmates and made them face a wall while the hit song “Baby Shark” played on loop for hours on end. As any parent or older sibling who’s been forced to listen to the song can tell you, this is a form of torture. It may even be a war crime in some countries. Consequences aren't too harsh though as charges against the jail staff are only classified as misdemeanors. Take them to The Hague! If only the inmates knew this simple trick to escape handcuffs.
