Watch your step: Falling snakes make poor houseguests

What’s the worst possible thing you could see when opening your front door? A car crash? A wall of snow blocking your path? How about a snake falling on top of your head, like what happened to Christina Mitchell of McComb, Mississippi? Christina was going about her day when all of the sudden, a snake dropped on top of her and slithered inside her house.

Most people would freak out, but not Christina. Instead, she grabbed a broom and tried to whisk the reptile back where it came from. The snake was aggressive and would lunge at the broom, but Christina wasn’t afraid at all. As it turns out, she correctly identified it as a non venomous rat snake. Apparently, she actually likes snakes, too — just not in her house. Same here, Christina. Real snakes can be scary, but would you be as afraid of a robot snake?
