New episodes in April showcase One House Bakery, Burma 2, and The Monk’s Kettle Terra Linda
KQED’s award-winning local program Check, Please! Bay Area returns this month with mouthwatering new episodes! | Looking to liven up your restaurant rotation this spring? We have exciting news to share: Check, Please! Bay Area is back and better than ever, dishing up four fresh new episodes just for you! Each Thursday, starting April 20, host Leslie Sbrocco joins three local residents to divulge their favorite delicious finds. From bakeshops to brewpubs, brunch beignets to Burmese black pepper beef, we’ve scoured the Bay for the best bites, as recommended by everyday viewers and food fanatics across Northern California! In each episode of this James Beard and Emmy Award-winning program, three Bay Area residents recommend their favorite place to eat and the dishes they can’t get enough of, and the other two guests visit anonymously to check it out. After trying each other’s picks, they join Sbrocco in the studio to discuss, dispute, and celebrate their dining experiences with authentic, lively commentary. The fun kicks off Thursday, April 20, at 7:30 PM, as three guests join Leslie at KQED’s San Francisco studio to chat about their unbeatable flavor bounties at One House Bakery in Benicia, Burma 2 in Walnut Creek and The Monk’s Kettle Terra Linda in San Rafael. Can’t wait to see where we’re heading next? Visit our website for all the information on our brand-new episodes! |
