Casting for First-Ever
Check, Please! Bay Area — Kids | | |
| | We’re looking for articulate and passionate foodies between the ages of 10 and 14 years old to come into our studios here at KQED in San Francisco to star in four new episodes of Check, Please! Bay Area — Kids. If you know a child who simply cannot stop gushing about the last meal they enjoyed at their prized local eatery, restaurant, cafe, diner, lunch cafe, hole-in-the-wall, food truck, etc. - send them our way!
Casting opens today online at kqed.org/checkplease. Slots are limited and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to completing an application, kids and their parent/guardian must be willing to travel to KQED in San Francisco for both an interview on Saturday, August 18 and if selected, be available for the taping of the shows on September 17 or 18. Kids and their parent/guardian must be able to travel to three eateries within a 50 mile radius of San Francisco.
Pre-registration via the online application is required for this event and parents/guardians must accompany kids at all times.
