The City of Cockburn, in partnership with Sports Medicine Australia, is proud to offer a subsidised Sports Trainer Course to help clubs address the growing need for qualified sports trainers. 📅 When: Monday 3 & Tuesday 4 February 2025 5:30pm - 9:30pm
📍 Where: Treeby Community & Sports Facility
💰 Cost: $100, ($199 Subsidised by the City of Cockburn)
Eligibility:
- Limited to 1 participant per club at this stage.
- Maximum of 23 spots available, so don’t miss out!

- CPR & First Aid Certificates Required
This workshop equips participants with essential skills in injury prevention, management, and recovery to keep athletes safe on and off the field.

| | | Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund CSRFF grants from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries aim to increase participation in sport by assisting community groups to develop sport and recreation infrastructure.
The small grants round for projects from $7500 to $500,000 open on Monday 3 February 2025, for projects starting in the 2025-26 financial year.
You must contact the department to discuss your project in order to be eligible. You may also be required to obtain City endorsement for the project, as well as any relevant planning or building approvals, so discuss your project with Recreation Services at the earliest opportunity. | | |

| | | Community Venues Team Update Maintenance Enquires -Community Venue Maintenance Request Form- Please use this link to report any maintenance issues. Please provide as much information as possible so our team know location and issue. Pegs - Clubs using pegs at Reserves should prioritise plastic pegs, available free from the City's administration building. If metal pegs are necessary, they must be painted in a highly visible colour, such as blue or orange, to ensure easy identification in grassy areas.
