Dear friend and supporter, New data reveals that of all Holocaust survivors who were evacuated from their homes after October 7th, 86 have sadly passed away, according to the Welfare and Social Affairs Ministry. This number is likely magnified by the difficult conditions and emotional stress of being away from home. With approximately 100,000 individuals displaced and currently dispersed across more than 400 temporary dwellings, many have lost their homes permanently. Others live under the constant threat of missiles, causing widespread stress and anxiety, with no clear timeline for returning home. At Feed Israel, we are committed to offering comprehensive support to evacuees, addressing both their immediate and long-term needs. Our efforts include distributing essential supplies, facilitating access to medical care, and providing mental health support. |
