Sept. 1, 2022

Dear CHAC Community,

We had a very fun summer with you!  We enjoy seeing you at first Fridays, having you attend our education classes and celebrating our new exhibits/openings. It is hard to believe that September is already here and it is time to prepare for Fall and the holiday season.

We are kicking off September with the opening of our CHAC Members Show Friday Sept. 2nd from 5PM-9PM at 1560 Teller St., Lakewood, highlighting our amazing artists. This is a wonderful show to see the diverse artistic expressions that make up CHAC Gallery. Sept. 24th join us for Tummy Tales Stories: A Celebration of Family and Food at the Corky Gonzales Library from 2-4pm at 1498 Irving St., Denver. Come share family food stories and try some yummy treats.

In getting ready for the holiday season please book your Sugar Skull/Calavera workshop today. Contact [email protected] or 720-662-4800.

CHAC is proud to sponsor:

CHAC Gallery & Cultural Center was founded in 1978 by a group of visual and performing artists. The organization was established as a place where Chicano/Latino artists were provided with a venue to explore visual and performance art and promote and preserve the Chicano/Latino culture through the expression of the arts.

CHAC is an inclusive community of creatives that are dedicated to preserving, showcasing, educating and reflecting the essence of Chicano/a/x, Latino/a/x and other multicultural/multiracial communities.
