Hear Liza Lim's new concerto live from Melbourne, performed by Nicholas Altstaedt with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Jaime Martín.
The concerto, A Sutured World, was commissioned by Altstaedt and explores the process of using threads to sew up wounds and honour the scars.
Ahead of the performance we talked with Lim about her international success and some of her career highlights, including writing music for the opening of LA's iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall.
