Celebrating music by First Nations composers and musicians

Join us celebrating music by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander composers and musicians this NAIDOC Week.

Take a journey around Australia with Yuwaalaraay performer and storyteller Nardi Simpson in a special three-part series. Featuring music by all First Nations composers, Nardi shares the music and musicians she loves and draws inspiration from. The series includes a special acknowledgement of the Elders within the music community to celebrate this year's NAIDOC Week theme "For Our Elders".

Enjoy First Nations performances across Lunchtime Concert, interviews with Deborah Cheetham Fraillon, cellist Jackson Worley, and William Barton, and join Elizabeth Sheppard as she co-hosts Classic Australia.

Live this Sunday we're taking you to Melbourne for the grand finals of the internationally respected Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition. At 1pm, hear the three young piano trios who've made it through, followed by the String Quartet Final at 6pm.
