| The creek is flowing, rainbows sparkle between the storms and intermittent blue skies offer the land a chance to catch a breath. Nature's awesome beauty fills our hearts with wonder as we watch the seasons change. Each year brings with it new growth, gently healing the past beneath its touch of time. As we celebrate Imbolc today, the halfway point between Winter and Spring, we can look outside to see the signs of Spring, anticipating with excitement the wonders yet to come.
February brings celebrations of love and of the returning light and longer days. You might celebrate love for the people in your life, love for the planet, love for the animals, love for the water, and for all the elements. Yet when life gets busy it's sometimes easy to forget to notice the magic and beauty around us, or all the love we feel. No matter where you may be today, try to take a moment to express your love and gratitude, welcoming the return of Spring's light with an open heart. Celebrate! |

| Plan your Mid Winter Retreat Our pools are open 24 hours a day, rain or shine. This time of year, we suggest bringing a robe to stay cozy between soaks. It's also a good idea to bring your hiking shoes during rainy weather for the walk along the Village Path from the pools to the campground or cottages. With a variety of lodging options to select from you might plan a solo retreat with a tiny single Dome room or perhaps celebrate Valentine's Day with a private Grove cottage. You can also bring your camper or tent and commune with nature immersed in the beauty of the meadow or camping beside the creek.

Harbin's Spring Water Harbin's pools are a sacred space where many come from far and wide, not only to soak in the sun for fun but often to find solace in the comfort of Harbin's Spring waters, the hills, sounds of birds, creeks flowing and breezes blowing. The natural surroundings of Earth's healing embrace and the long history of this space as a sacred spot mean so much to so many people.
When you arrive, please take note of signs by the pools indicating areas for silent meditation or spaces where quiet conversation is welcome. During construction we understand it's not always possible to find quiet, but in the hours when we are not building, silence is even more appreciated than ever. And please, for everyone's safety, do not bring any glass into the pool areas. Thank you! |

| Celebrating Imbolc Earth-based holidays are times when we acknowledge the changes on the planet. You may have noticed that these celebrations come about every 6 or so weeks throughout the year. They mark seasonal changes but also are opportunities for communities to gather. Imbolc is meant to get us out of the house and be together while the days are still cold and short in the Northern hemisphere. Imbolc encourages mid-winter housecleaning so put a simmering pot of water on your stove with lemon slices and rosemary to refresh your indoor space while you consider the gifts water brings to your life. |

The floors are finished, and work has begun on the interior walls of Fern Dressing Room and Steam Sauna. Fern building will bring more poolside showers, restrooms, and an enclosed changing room to Mainside. The weather is causing some delays in construction, but we are making progress and hope to have Fern completed as soon as possible. We will keep you posted on the opening date. |

| | | Sparkling skies set a backdrop for the Harbin Restaurant groundbreaking last month bringing tears and cheers of joy for the exciting day. Bringing back the restaurant is a long awaited and exciting step in the decade long rebuilding of Harbin's guest facilities. With the return of the Walnut and Azalea hotel buildings, which are currently in the final planning stages, we will again offer hotel rooms just steps away from the pools.
We are extremely thankful for your support and patience during this era of rebuilding Harbin so we may offer our full amenities once again. |
