| | | | | Sustainable before it was trendy
| | | | |
| It all started with some old paper… and a kitchen blender. In 1950, Antonio Lemaire and his sons were doing their first experiment in recovery with some recycled paper and a blender. Not long after, Cascades was born with a deep conviction of reusing, recovering, and recycling practices that could benefit both the environment and society. Fast forwarding to today, Cascades has released its fourth sustainable development plan, with the first one announced in 2010. Since then, Cascades has reduced its water consumption intensity by 24% and energy consumption intensity by 17%, all while delivering quality products to our customers. |
