Celebrate Mardi Gras in 2024

If you've never heard of Mardi Gras, it's a huge holiday held in New Orleans every year. Centred around music, parades, picnics and more!
Mardi Gras goers are known to wear costumes covered in purple, green and gold, in addition to long beads around their necks caught from the floats of previous parades.
Throughout Mardi Gras you can expect live music, great food, crowds of both locals and visitors enjoying the parades. Note that most local businesses will be closed due to celebrations.
Be sure to catch your own beads and trinkets thrown from the parade floats and take your own piece of Mardi Gras home with you.
