93-year-old Stan from Balwyn, called in to Jacinta Parsons on Afternoons to discuss a random act of kindness he recalls from 90 years ago. During the Great Depression, a young Stan remembers seeing a woman being evicted from his childhood neighbourhood of Prahran. The Afternoons team instinctively sensed there was more to this gentleman caller and they pursued this poignant story.
