The latest insights from CDP: Global Climate Action Summit special We are at a critical moment for global environmental action. The Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals marked the start of a new, sustainable strategy for the world and sent a clear signal that business as usual is over. But time is running out. Never has it been more important to raise the bar to secure a thriving, sustainable economy for people and planet. At the Global Climate Action Summit (GCAS) in California this week, national, state and local governments, business, investors and citizens from around the world are coming together to celebrate positive action and spur increased ambition on climate change. Only by understanding their impacts can the world's emitters take steps towards addressing them. It starts with disclosure. | |
