The role of CDI Educator is rapidly becoming a necessity for successful CDI departments
The typical responsibilities include the development of CDI training programs for new and experienced CDI specialists, providing oversight through performing CDI audits and implementing provider education or working alongside a physician advisor for both remote and onsite environments.
The Live Virtual CDI Educator Boot Camp addresses the concepts listed above in addition to the assessment of educational needs of CDI staff, addressing challenges of provider education, development of ongoing training content, education plans and identification of available CDI related resources.
The CDI Educator’s Boot Camp is a three-day intensive training course that focuses on the role and responsibilities of the CDI Educator. The course offers guidance on the skills necessary for a CDI educator to succeed in their role!

Anticipate obstacles in learning within the adult learner population
Adjust teaching plans/techniques to both remote and live learning environments
Develop exercises and test questions that demonstrate and evaluate critical thinking skills
Develop and initiate a competency assessment plan for existing staff, to include regular chart audits and constructive feedback
Initiate a comprehensive onboarding plan for new staff
