A look at The Q project: Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena is undergoing a $185 million makeover which will make way for, among other things, the 2022 NBA All Star Game. If you haven’t seen the architectural renderings, a new 42,530 square foot addition with an exterior glass facade will wrap around the north and east sides of the building along Huron Road and E. 6th Street. Road-weary Cavaliers lose to Bulls : The Cavs came back to Quicken Loans Arena on Monday for their first home game after completing a six-game Western Conference road trip. But the Cavs looked fatigued and weary against the Chicago Bulls. And the visitors never trailed, routing the Cavaliers, 104-88. The combination of returning late from their six-game trip and an afternoon tipoff had the Cavaliers playing tired most of the game. Read more. Injuries force Osman in a bad position: The Cavaliers have not been able to stay healthy for most of this season. The frontcourt has particularly been ravaged by injuries. Kevin Love has been out since October, and Larry Nance Jr. has sat out the past few weeks. Tristan Thompson has missed the last few games due to foot soreness. And that's forced Cedi Osman to guard defenders much bigger than him.
