Good afternoon,

Australian tech unicorn Canva will acquire AI marketing start-up MagicBrief to boost its expansion to further entice cashed-up corporate subscribers to its design platform.

When Armina Rosenberg walks into her funds management firm Minotaur Capital each morning, there’s not a single analyst in the office. AI is doing all the grunt work, at a fraction of the cost. Now she's launched an AI agent which will take on even more responsibilities.

AI has become the latest tool in a firefighter’s arsenal, with start-ups raising tens of millions of dollars from investors to use the technology to spot blazes — even at night — within minutes.
