Canning supplies, and a caution for you.

Good day! I have an announcement and a warning here to all of you. As you may (or may not) know canning supplies are getting hard to come by in many parts of the country. Some areas are hard hit, others have supplies still.

The crazy times we live in have led a large new group of people to start gardening and food preservation. Which is a good thing in my book!

However, this brings out some negative aspects. Apparently there are some sites popping up that are not what they seem to be. I’m hearing of sites that are mimicking legitimate sites and selling supplies. Be very careful of who you order canning supplies from. Watch for poor english, unusual phrases, these may indicate fraudulent sites.

Simply Canning does not sell canning lids, jars or supplies of any sort.

I do sell online canning classes.

But I do not sell canning supplies.

I have had multiple people contact me stating they purchased lids that were not working and wanted information on returning them. People who were very unhappy with me!

Please note... if someone says they are Simply Canning and they want to sell you lids. It is NOT me. Do not purchase from them.

If this has happened to you, would you please e-mail me with the information? I want to nip this in the bud asap if there is any way I can find them and report them.
