VCCC Alliance Cancer Consumer Advisory Committee Deputy Chair sought from regional Victoria
Do you have a lived experience of cancer and the desire to improve outcomes for patients in regional Victoria? We are seeking a highly motivated cancer consumer from regional Victoria who has experience in contributing to strategic initiatives, collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders, and has the capacity to join our dynamic Cancer Consumer Advisory Committee in a part-time (currently meeting online) capacity. Support the Chair and committee in developing a skilled consumer network to integrate the expertise of a lived experience in program design and delivery, particularly in relation to Victorian regional initiatives.
Ideally, the individual will have:
Demonstrated collaborative consumer leadership in the health sector Experience and knowledge in best practice consumer engagement and implementation An understanding of the practicality of engagement with regional communities, including equity considerations that may be specific to healthcare in Victoria.
