We got more positive vaccine news over the weekend: The Johnson & Johnson COVID shot was officially approved for emergency use by the FDA. That's huge cause for celebration, but thanks to two extremely effective vaccines already on the market, people seem to be more apprehensive about the J&J option.
The new shot has an overall efficacy rate of 66%, while Pfizer and Moderna have about 95%. So, should you wait to get those shots instead of the J&J one? Do you even have an option to choose which vaccine you get? We've got your answers here.
Bottom line: Another approved vaccine is wonderful. It has been a long and grueling year of COVID-19 (can you believe it's already March again?). Feel hopeful about this. I know I do.
