LS3P is excited to host a cocktail party on September 13th at 6 pm for CAM’s Compass Society in their downtown Wilmington office. From the fifth floor of the Truist Building at 101 North Third Street, they enjoy a sweeping panorama of downtown from courthouse to historic district to riverfront. It is a beautiful place to enjoy the sunset, good wine, better friends, and discuss the Art of Architecture.
The LS3P Wilmington office was founded in 1922 by architect Leslie N. Boney, a pioneer in educational facility architecture who designed over 1,000 school projects across North Carolina. With 40 local team members and over 450 employees, LS3P has become one of the largest architecture and interior design firms in the Southeast.
Significant local projects for the oåffice include New Hanover County Government Center, Novant-New Hanover Regional Medical Center, all four New Hanover County High Schools, the Live Oak Bank campus, Cape Fear Community College’s Wilson Center, Project Grace, and the original master plan for UNC-Wilmington. Cameron Art Museum’s USCT Memorial landscape is an important LS3P design.
“For 100 years now, the Wilmington community has supported and sustained our architecture practice. We are so grateful to have had the privilege of serving people we love in a place that is very dear to us, and we look forward to playing a role in Wilmington’s growth for another 100 years,” said Chris Boney, Chief Relationship Officer for the firm. “We cannot wait to see what comes next.”
