2020 has been an unprecedented year where we witness the global spread of COVID-19 leading to changes and disruptions in every aspect of our lives, communities and businesses. Yet, this year of change also marks a very special milestone for us. After 22 successful years of development, we have taken the next big step to further reinforce our role in the business community by rebranding ourselves from the British Business Group Vietnam to the British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (BritCham Vietnam).
 
BritCham Vietnam would like to thank all of our members, friends and sponsors who helped us raise 2.75 billion VND in 2019 and early 2020. The main fundraising activities were the two Fun Runs for Charity and Inter-Company Football Tournaments in both HCMC and Hanoi. Without your participation, the event could not have been so successful. 
 
In Hanoi, the 2019 BBGV - BUV Charity Fun Run (5th time running the event) was a huge success with more than 7,000 people attended and raised more than 1,3 billion VND to support charitable projects, helping many of the less fortunate around the country. We would like to once again express a heartfelt thank you to all of our sponsors, supporters, and runners.

Event details are as below:

• Date & time: 8:00 am – 02:00 pm, November 8^rd, 2020
• Venue: BUV Ecopark Campus, Ecopark Township

• Public exposure: your logo will be displayed on: 
• 1,000 printed flyers, posters, standees;
• on e-flyers disseminated to 20,000 contacts via E-newsletter, Facebook, LinkedIn; 
• on 8,000 tickets delivered to runners; 
• on the large billboards (1mx5m) placed around the run route. 
• In addition, your company will be featured in press releases during and after our press conference on 23th Oct 2020 (TBC).
• Social responsibility: your cash contribution will be transferred to selected charity projects throughout Vietnam.
• Team building/family outing: our Fun Run engages people and will expand your brand exposure.  Runners in your company branded uniform will raise the profile of your corporate identity. Company members can enjoy team building and camaraderie.

• More than 7,000 runners participated in the event in 2019 and 7,000 runners in 2018, compared to 6,000 in 2017, 4,000 runners in 2016 and 2,000 runners in 2015. We are now looking to have 8,000 participants in 2020.
• More than 30 sponsors from a wide of range of business sectors joined together and brought along thousands of employees, partners and family members.  
• More than 1,3 billion VND was raised to support charities.

• Run: 5km long run route around Ecopark area.
• Entertainment : join our flash mob dance, sing along with our special guest singer and enjoy a live music performances throughout the event. The stage will be placed on the water feature in the middle of BUV's Ecopark campus.
• Lucky draw : compelling prizes include a scooter, Airlines return tickets and many more valuable prizes.
• Fun market stalls: there will be plenty of choices for food and drinks and other activities at our sponsors’ booths.
• Photo contest : take photos, hashtag #BritChamBUVCharityFunRun to win high-value shopping vouchers.
• Picnic resting area: surrounding grass fields and flower gardens with a lake view, the rest area is a perfect  place to stay until late afternoon.
