| Join the newly launched ECMC TYA Trials Advisory Group |
| Access to clinical trials remains a significant challenge for teenagers and young adults (TYA) affected by cancer. A lack of awareness about available trials is a key barrier, limiting their opportunities to participate. To address this, the ECMC network launched the TYA Trials Advisory Group – a forum for discussing complex TYA patient cases and identifying the most suitable treatment or trial referral pathways. The group will run via an online platform, allowing real-time discussions while supporting existing multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs). It will also bring together experts from disease-specific MDTs and clinicians specialising in the most common TYA cancers spanning paediatric and adult care. If you have a TYA patient case and would like to know more about the group, contact Sumair Nizamuddin. |

On 12 June, our Data Community Support Unit will host the morning session to foster collaborations and explore innovative pathways for data and samples reuse in oncology research. Sign up for the event and register for our morning session. Your insights will help us create solutions to enhance data-sharing practices. | |

Answering your questions on our environmental sustainability in research policy
|
| As researchers and organisations seek to manage and reduce the environmental impact of their work where possible, we’re answering your questions on how our environmental sustainability in research policy will affect you. These FAQs will help you understand the requirements coming into place from 1 January 2026, and who they apply to, so your funding application can be considered eligible. We encourage response-mode grant funding applicants as well as staff at host institutions to review the policy. |

| | A refreshed Concordat to Support Research Integrity has now been published. Thank you to everyone in our research community who took part in the consultation and provided valuable feedback. The concordat has been in place since 2012, and this review aimed to make sure it remains relevant and applicable in today’s fast-moving research environment. Users will find that its basic structure and requirements are unchanged, retaining the five commitments and five principles of research integrity. | |
