Pour lancer la nouvelle année, j'ai fait imprimer un calendrier 2017 qui retrace mes aventures photographiques de l'année 2016. Au programme un très beau line-up qui s'est constitué au fil des mois et des rencontres. Des shootings photos funs en compagnie de groupes que j'affectionne particulièrement, des photos lives prises entre Berlin, Hanovre, Karlsruhe, Strasbourg, Colmar et Audincourt, une impression sur du papier 250 gr en format A3 pour une mise en valeur de ces moments!

Chaque shooting a évidemment sa petite histoire et son petit lot d'anecdotes: j'ai rencontré The Bouncing Souls lors de leur dernière tournée européenne au Substage à Karlsruhe. Unis depuis plus de 25 années ce band (nouvellement signé sur Rise Records) venu du New Jersey m'a accueilli chaleureusement, on s'est fait quelques photos promo dans les anciens abattoirs de Karlsruhe, on s'est bien marré et les photos en attestent! A l'occasion de la première date de leur tournée anniversaire des 30 ans sur le sol français au Moloco à Audincourt; les New-Yorkais de SICK OF IT ALL ont, eux aussi, pris la pose! On s'est essayé à un petit shooting privé avant leur show: super détendue l'équipe! Un vrai plaisir! Y figurent également THE TURBO AC'S de NYC que j'ai photographié à Colmar au grillen en juillet dernier lors d'un concert organisé par l'association AFTERDARK. J'y posais ma distro ce soir là et nous avions décidé de nous faire quelques photos à l'extérieur de la salle en dégustant de la bière locale. On y retrouve également les MOORINGS from Elsass qui m'ont invité à partir avec eux le temps d' un week-end sur les routes allemandes (Hanovre et Berlin). J'en ai profité pour faire quelques clichés souvenirs. Vous retrouverez aussi THE BLACK ZOMBIE PROCESSION lors d'une répète chez Guillaume, le batteur, dans sa maison en Alsace, cliché qui servira de photo promo pour la sortie du nouvel EP "IV: HECA-TOMB" à sortir en janvier 2017 accompagné d'un bouquin écrit par le très talentueux ZAROFF (que l'on peut retrouver chez Trash editions). Les mythiques surfeurs Bisontins de HAWAII SAMURAI qui deviendront quelques années plus tard: THE IRRADIATES et DEMON VENDETTA, y sont passés eux aussi! C'était en octobre de cette année lors de leur venue à Strasbourg à la maison bleue. Concert que j'organisais en partenariat avec HELLPROD sur la tournée "THE ULTIMATE SURF ABOMINATION TOUR". Et pour finir, vous retrouverez une photo live de THE SHRINE, groupe de Los Angeles proposant un rock très 70s, remodelé et bien plus bourrin (ils feront d'ailleurs le support de Slayer sur de nombreuses dates) ainsi qu'une tof live de PRONG de passage au Halte hackerei à Karlsruhe pour la tournée de leur dernier album "No absolutes". On y voit un Tommy Victor (Prong, Danzig, Ministry) en pleine forme accompagné de musiciens hors paire nous abreuvant d'un show mémorable!

To launch the new year, I have printed a calendar 2017 which recount my photographic adventures of the year 2016. Each shoot obviously has its story and its small batch of anecdotes: I met The Bouncing Souls during their last European tour at the Substage in Karlsruhe. For more than 25 years this band (newly signed on Rise Records) coming from New Jersey welcomed me warmly, we made a few promo pictures in the old slaughterhouses of Karlsruhe, we got well and the pictures testified! On the occasion of the first gig of their 30 years anniversary tour on French soil at the Moloco in Audincourt; The New Yorkers of SICK OF IT ALL have also taken the pose! We've done a phototshoot before their show: a super relaxed team! A real pleasure! THE TURBO AC'S of NYC feature ! The band which I photographed in Colmar @Grillen last July at a concert organized by the association AFTERDARK. I put my distro that night and we decided to take some pictures outside the room while tasting local beer. There is also the MOORINGS from Elsass which invited me to go with them for a weekend on the German roads (Hanover and Berlin). I took the opportunity to make a few snapshots. You will also find THE BLACK ZOMBIE PROCESSION at their rehearsal room at Guillaume's place, the drummer, in his house in Alsace, shot which will serve as a promotional photo for the release of the new EP "IV: HECA-TOMB" to be released in January 2017 with 'A book written by the very talented ZAROFF (which can be found in Trash editions). The mythical french surfers of HAWAII SAMURAI who will become a few years later: THE IRRADIATES and DEMON VENDETTA, pose too! It was in October of this year when they came to Strasbourg to the blue house. Concert that I organized in partnership with HELLPROD on the tour "THE ULTIMATE SURF ABOMINATION TOUR". And finally, you will find a live photo of THE SHRINE (Los Angeles).The band offers a 70s rock, restructured and much more louder (they will also support Slayer on many gigs) as well as a live shot of PRONG at the Halte Hackerei in Karlsruhe for the tour of their latest album "No absolutes". We see a Tommy Victor (Prong, Danzig, Ministry) in full form accompanied by musicians unparalleled playing a memorable show!
