The View's Sunny Hostin went after her co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin for ignoring far-right group the Proud Boys while former President Donald Trump was in office.

On Friday's edition of The View, Griffinrevealed she was never briefed about the Proud Boys while working for Trump despite the fact that the former president told the group to “stand back and stand by" in a debate before the 2020 election.

Members of the Proud Boys later stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

“The lesson I learned with Trump is you have to take him seriously and literally with what he says. And he uses language intentionally to reach certain audiences," Farah said on Friday. "I remember watching that ‘Proud Boys stand back and stand by,’ and honestly I had never even heard of the Proud Boys."

The comment prompted Hostin to question Farah's handling of the debate comment, as she was Trump's White House communications director at the time.

“Did you not see that then? I think I remember reading when you were his press secretary, you didn’t think that he needed a clarification,” said Hostin, calling Farah's response to the debate "odd."

Farah continued to insist that she did not know who the Proud Boys were until they began violently protesting.

“I think Black people need to know enemies of people of color,” said Hostin.

“But when you have clearly a supremacist and, quite frankly, not to push too much on you, it was your job to know about that, right, as press secretary. But why would you not think that that’s crazy?”

The FBI announced an arrest on Thursday for a recent bomb threat against Boston Children’s Hospital, which was connected to a far-right campaign of threats and intimidation against the hospital after social media accounts claimed the hospital provided services to transgender youth.

The hospital became a target after right-wing media personalities like “LibsOfTikTok," run by a woman named Chaya Raichik, falsely claimed it was performing hysterectomies and "castrating kids."

The smear campaign against the hospital resulted in the hospital warning its employees of potential violence citing an increase in threatening phone calls and emails sent to the hospital.

U.S. Attorney Rachael S. Rollins announced that Catherine Leavy of Westfield, Massachusetts was charged with one count of making a bomb threat over the telephone – a charge which could carry a 5-year prison sentence.

“There is a bomb on the way to the hospital. You better evacuate everybody. You sickos,” Leavy allegedly said to the hospital switchboard on Aug. 30.

Raichik later responded to reports of the bomb threat by claiming the police were never alerted, adding, "Many questions remain. Will any journalists investigate?”

NBC News reporter Brandy Zadrozny summed up the whole incident, saying, “Interesting. The folks behind a months-long campaign to vilify children’s hospitals in Boston and beyond for providing gender-affirming care to trans youth have spent the last 24 hours suggesting that bomb threats the hospital received in the aftermath were overblown or faked.”
