MEDIA WINNER:
Bret Baier

Fox News anchor Bret Baier confronted FBI Director Christopher Wray on several pressing topics during an exclusive and extensive 20-minute interview on Tuesday night.

Baier questioned Wray on the investigating into the origins of Covid, highlighting a classified, "low confidence" Energy Department assessment that the first outbreak “likely” stemmed from a lab leak.

Wray corroborated the findings, confirming that the coronavirus “most likely” emerged from a “lab accident” in China.

Baier also grilled the FBI director on the contrasting ways the agency handled searches of former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden to secure classified documents.

Wray was able to explain that the agency will "typically start with the least intrusive means to try to retrieve the improperly stored classified information."

He went on to explain that the FBI will later resort to more intrusive techniques if needed -- as the agency did with Trump during the Mar-a-Lago raid.

Baier was able to hit another hot topic, asking Wray about the FBI investigation into Hunter Biden's laptop.

While Wray could not shed too much light on the ongoing investigation, the conversation veered into another topical discussion on censorship.

Matt Schlapp

American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp broke his personal silence on the sexual assault allegation he’s facing by lashing out at “fake journalists” pushing the story.

Schlapp previously responded to the original Daily Beast report on the accusation by claiming it was politically motivated.

Schlapp was accused of groping the crotch of a male staffer who worked on Herschel Walker’s Senate campaign last year.

The anonymous staffer claimed Schlapp inappropriately and repeatedly intruded into his personal space while at two Atlanta-area bars on Oct. 19.

The staffer claimed Schlapp also fondled him while he was driving and became angry when he couldn't enter the staffer's hotel room.

In new personal statements published by the Washington Examiner on Wednesday, Schlapp denied the accusations once more.

He also called himself a "victim" of the situation and attacked “fake journalists" for reporting on the news.

“This media will take any charge and run with it if they can destroy a Republican or a Trump supporter or conservative. That’s what we have in this country," he said.

Schlapp has been married to conservative political commentator and former Trump official Mercedes Schlapp for two decades.
