If our lives are filled with stories, then whoever controls our stories controls our lives. That’s the premise of “Chasing Embers” — the first book in the Oarsmen series. It’s a dystopian novel — my first foray into youth fiction — and the feedback we’ve gotten from readers is just incredible.
